Checking In

FOCUS THIS WEEK: Spend quality time with friends, family and especially Mr. LL. So far so good!

My daily tasks are:

• Make the bed EVERY DAY. 
• Put away the clean dishes in the morning.
• Spend 10 minutes a day on dishes.
• Do something laundry related every day.
• 10 minute pick up before bed.
• Journal Today was the first day this week that I actually got around to doing this and meditating. 😕
• Meditate

For my weekly tasks:

• Clean the bathroom
• Dust 
• Walk 4 days a week. Didn't walk Monday because I was getting over a cold/allergies. Didn't walk yesterday because it was Mardi Gras (didn't do much of anything out of the house, actually). Was going to walk today, but slept through BOTH of our alarms. Meh.

GETTING READY FOR BABY

PHASE #1: COMPLETE

• Get organized. 
• Clean out the crib space. 

PHASE #2: COMPLETE

• Get the crib + changing table assembled. 
• Wash all the baby clothes/blankets/etc. 

PHASE #3:

• Make appointment with pediatrician. 
• Buy a few more maternity pieces. – Check.
• Buy a couple of nursing bras. – With all the parades that have been going on around here, it's been hard to go shopping. Now that they are all done, I'm hoping to get this done on Saturday.
• Baby showers – Baby shower this Sunday! 

Project 365: 55-59

Mr. LL and I are going out of town, last minute, this weekend. So I'm going to post P365 today instead of a #FollowFriday post.  I'm still trying to catch up with my posts. These photos are kinda old now, lol.

55: It's crawfish season again. Mr. LL's family is big into crawfish boils. You'll be seeing quite a few of these kind of pix in the future.

56: Mr. LL and his younger sister have birthdays this month, so his family had a joint celebration.

57: ever since my title at work changed to senior designer (about a year ago), i've been getting random pieces from illustrators. while i think it's awesome and love getting them, i feel kinda guilty that they wasted it on me. I have absolutely no say in hiring freelance anyone.

58: i've lost the mates to both these socks, so now they go together and are one of my favorite pairs.

59: just some of the many random toys i have at my desk at work.

Project 365: 25-28

I missed a few days this past week, but here is what I shot.

25: For Valentine's Day, I made Mr. LL some pancakes. I tried to make them heartshape, but gave up.

26: Couldn't think of what to shoot, so I here is my BIG eyeshadow palette that I rarely use these days.

Mr. LL and I spent Mardi Gras day with some of his family. It was his youngest sister's birthday.

28: Over the Mardi Gras season, we had many king cakes at work. Someone started collecting the babies from them above the break room door.
