#weekendcoffeeshare is a weekly link up, hosted by Part Time Monster.
If we were having coffee, I'd tell you that I am so excited for the Blogger Brunch my friend/co-worker/fellow blogger, Missy (you can check out the Follow Friday I did on her blog) and I came up with. It was just an idea I had one day and suggested it to Missy who ran with it. Thank you very much, Missy. Now it is a real thing with a growing list of people who are attending. She and I both want to talk and brainstorm with other bloggers about how everyone individually works on their blogs, comes up with content, edits their code for their websites, and all that good stuff. She and I talk about these things, and it would be amazing to have some other perspectives. We are waiting until after the Mardi Gras season is over, because that takes up such a huge chunk of everyone's lives this time of year in New Orleans. Still, I am so excited for this event!
If we were having coffee, I'd tell you that I found my camera battery charger! It's kind of embarrassing where it was, to be honest. I was cleaning our apartment, trying to find it anywhere, and I checked my camera bag/purse and I found my car battery charger for the camera...then I realized it was my actual battery charger with the car adapter plugged into it. Sigh. I can be so thick sometimes. I'm just happy to have it back and to have a fully charge the camera battery.
If we were having coffee, I'd tell you that it is been a rough past week for me. I had some really dark days, and I was hit with a depression that I haven't felt since I was a teenager. I talked it out with Mr. LL and while it made him a little upset to hear those things, it really helped me get through that time. It's not fully over yet, but it's definitely a lot more manageable. I am so grateful to have him to talk to and to support me through these times.
If we were having coffee, I'd tell you that I signed up to join the 1,000 Voices for Compassion on February 20. That Friday instead of a Follow Friday post, I will be writing a post about compassion. Click on a link to check out what this is all about, the goal is to get 1,000 bloggers to write a post about compassion on February 20. If you can please join and make this a day of positivity on the Internet.
